I ordered this chocolate cake for my dads birthday without much lead time. Christen was more than helpful and didn’t hesitate in taking my order! She’s super friendly and accommodating. The cake was a huge hit!! My dad was soooo happy and absolutely LOVED the cake! Everyone loved the cake! It was pretty, delicious, beautifully boxed! This was my second time ordering from Christen. First was a carrot cake and I didn’t think she could top that (it was the best we’ve ever had) but, she did with her chocolate cake. It is sinfully good!! Rich, moist, just the right amount of icing and just plain perfect. In addition to being an incredibly talented baker she is always timely to respond, has great communication skills, and always has the order ready right on time. I have been ordering cakes from here for the past 6 years. We just had my daughter's wedding and the wedding cake was out if this world delicious. I picked up the cake on Bee Street, and Mrs. Reese met me outside even though it was raining. She made sure the cake did not get ruined by the rain by covering it up. Later, I met with some of my Citadel classmates for dinner, with the cake being our dessert. Unanimously, everyone said the cake was delicious! I ordered a cake via email and conveniently picked it up on the way to a bachelorette party. The cake had perfect sweetness, the chocolate tasted like real chocolate, and it was perfectly moist. I normally don't eat icing but I ate this icing. A girl in our group usually doesn't eat more than a bite of anything chocolate because it doesn't meet her standards, but she ate her entire slice.
